Chad…im sooo excited for you! I remember when I first went over years ago now. It totally wrecked me. I wish that I could go with you Perhaps you wanna come again with me this spring …hinthint… I am praying for you!!! Chad, What an amazing journey you will walk over the next few weeks…can I come? The cool thing is, God's already provided what you need and the rest He'll supply as needed en route… I want you to be assurred of my prayers over the next few weeks…prayers for strength, creativity, discernment, eye's that see the 'unsee-able', softness for recieving, spiritual power & authority, revelation, love, God-dependence… This is an important journey for more reasons than you think…it will have great impact on life as you return…I'm pumped to see what that 'looks like'. Chad Wow….in a mere 4-5 days you will be in the air en route to Asia……It is coming so fast. Want to remind you of my faithful prayers as you prepare yourself…..both practically and spiritually. May God's presence simply be your stay. He has wonderful things in store for you…..I just know it. With that comes warfare so rest assured I am dealing with that in my prayers. Try to keep rested this week……eat well, and get your sleep! (Guess I might as well throw in to wear clean underwear! Ha Ha) Love you so much son, and I am so proud of you. I am jealous, in the most spiritual sense of the term. What you are going to be doing is exactly what I am studying to do: facilitating worship in other cultural contexts. Hearing about what God is doing in other parts of the world makes me excited for them, but it pains me to see how little the Western Church allows Him to do what He wants to do.
